Will there be transportation on October 31st?

The Night Before: Transportation is not provided, though the venue is a 10-15 minute walk or short ride from listed hotels.

Will there be transportation on November 1st?

On the wedding day, Transportation will be provided to and from the Ritz Hotel and New Orleans Museum of Art. All busses will leave Ritz Hotel promptly at 4:15pm on November 1st. All guests should arrive to the valet area of The Ritz Hotel at 4pm to ensure you are able to board the bus easily for a 4:15pm departure. Beginning at 9:00pm, two busses will run as a shuttle to bring guests back to Ritz should you decide to depart before the scheduled end time. At the end of the evening, busses will be available to bring the remaining guests back to the Ritz Hotel.

Is parking available?

We encourage all of our guests to use Uber or Lyft to travel to and from our wedding. For guests who want to drive, there is plenty of street parking available around the Museum and a lot at City Park across from The Pavilion of Two Sisters/Storyland that is easily accessible. All guests should enter the park using the Gates at Henry Thomas Dr.

What is the attire for the events?

The Welcome Party is cocktail attire. Men do not need to wear a tie. The Wedding is Black Tie. Tuxedos for Men and long dresses for Women. Color is encouraged! Our celebration will take place outdoors, with portions of the event on grass and paved areas. We kindly recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable and easy to walk in on both grass and concrete (think thick heels, wedges, block heels, flats, etc).

What will the weather be like?

This time of year it is about mid 70s during the day and 60s at night. A light sweater would be recommended. Please check the weather as the event gets closer.

Are children invited?

While we love your kids, our wedding is an adults only event. We want all of our guests to relax and enjoy the evening!
